The 90mm Meade ETX is a wonderful little telescope that I use for eclipses and spur of the moment observing sessions in my backyard. It has an electric motor drive for tracking objects that really comes in handy and it's easy to set up and operate. I have the older version of this scope that doesn't have the goto function or object database but that's ok because the hunt is half the fun.
